Main activity: : In this lab, students learn the basis of the chemical analyses of several active pharmaceutical ingredients, from inorganic molecules to more complex organic compounds. Though the main activity deals with chemical assays the possibility is given also to the usage of different instrumental techniques, such as UV-vis, IR, Polarimetry, NMR as well Gas-Chromatography, melting point, etc.
The lab is also equiped with all the lab-glassware and little bench instruments: magnetic stirrers, pH meters, both analytical and technical grade balances, thermoblocks, etc.
