AVAILABLE INSTRUMENTS IN THE LAB

SOTAX DT2

Tablet disintegration tester.
The instrument is used to determine how quickly tablets or capsules break down into smaller particles when immersed in a liquid, simulating the conditions inside the body. This test is crucial for pharmaceutical quality control, ensuring that medications disintegrate at a rate that allows for proper drug release and absorption.

SOTAX AT7

Dissolution testing systems.
The instrument is used to provide critical in vitro drug release information for both quality control purposes. This process is crucial for understanding how a drug is released into the body, ensuring its effectiveness and safety.

SOTAX FT2

Friability tester.
The instrument is used in the pharmaceutical industry to assess the physical strength and durability of tablets. It measures how well a tablet can withstand mechanical stress, such as abrasion and impact, during handling, packaging, and transportation. The test helps ensure that tablets don’t break or crumble during these processes, maintaining their integrity and efficacy.

SILVERSON L5T

Shear laboratory mixer.
The instrument is suitable for a widest range of applications mixing, emulsifying, homogenising, disintegrating and dissolving.

ONDA TOUCH UV-21

Single beam UV/VISIBLE spectrophotometer.
An analytical instrument that measures the absorbance or transmission of ultraviolet and visible light through a sample. It is used to  quantify substances based on how they interact with light in these specific wavelength ranges.

FARMALABOR TECH HARDNESS TABLETS MACHINE

Tablet hardness tester.
The tablet hardness tester is an instrument used to measure the breaking point and structural integrity of tablets, a crucial quality control process in the pharmaceutical industry. It ensures tablets maintain their form during production, packaging, and handling.

V POWDER MIXER

Pharmaceutical V type powder mixer.
The instrument is used for mixing dry powder, granuls and crystals for creating a homogenous blends of materials with low shearing force requirements.

FARMALABOR TECH POWDER MIXER

Powder mixer.
The instrument is designed to achieve perfectly homogeneous powder mixtures in just a few minutes for capsule production.

OFFICINA CO.STA. COSALT

Eccentric tablet press.
Using compressive force transforms powder into tablets of uniform sizes and thicknesses.

KRÜSS CONTACT ANGLE ANALYSER

Contact angle analyser.
The contact angle is defined as the angle formed between the liquid surface and the outline of the contact area at the interface between a liquid and a solid. Therefore, it is a measure of the wettability of a solid by a liquid.

MULTIGEL MC1

Manual capsule orienter.
This manual machine orients up to 100 capsules in a rapid and precise two-stage procedure, simplifying and accelerating the encapsulation process.

ANALYTICAL BALANCES

Analytical balances are highly precise laboratory instruments designed to accurately estimate the mass of an object with a readability up to 0.001 g.

TECHNICAL BALANCES

Precision balances are designed to measure the mass of objects with a high degree of accuracy, capable of detecting changes in mass down to 0.01 g.
