DSF Pure and Ultrapure Water Service
There are several types of water available in our Department and choosing the purity that you need depends on what you’re dealing with over your bench. We can provide Type III, Type II and Type I/I+ water (see the description below).

DSF Type III Water Service
The deionized water, or RO-water (Type III), can be collected directly from the specific tap located in:
A building (00190 03 004 room) – via Marzolo, 5;
B building (00240 00 011 room) – via Loredan 16 (*);
C building (00200 -1 013 room) – Largo Meneghetti, 2.
If the led is red, please use other dispensers located in different buildings.
(*) From Monday to Friday the deionized water can be collected directly from the taps located in the research labs. This service will be interrupted during all the weekends and the bank holidays (from Friday 16:00 to Monday 9:00).
DSF Type I/I+ Water Service
DSF Department (A, B and C Buildings)
Three different systems for the production of ultrapure water with very high levels of purity and very low conductibility (Type II, <1 µS/cm) or MilliQ grade ultrapure water (Type I, <0.056 µS and 18.2 MΩxcm) are available in the Department.
Please, fill the on-line Google form with the Research Group to which you belong and the volume you took after the withdrawn.
The Sartorius Ultrapure Systems are:
A building (Geotec: 00190 03 004)
B building (Geotec: 00240 00 011)
It is necessary to pick/return the pump key at the reception point of the main building.
C building (Geotec: 00200 -1 013)
It is not allowed to leave the flask unattended while the water is being dispensed (!!!).
