The technical services of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (DSF) are a key element in ensuring the efficiency and continuity of research and teaching activities, as well as ensuring the proper functioning of the Department’s environments and infrastructure.

The activities of the technical-logistics sector cover several integrated areas, with a focus on the practical and complementary aspects of scientific research and laboratory exercises. Services are structured to respond to user needs in a timely manner and to promote continuous improvement in operational efficiency.

To support the technical management of the laboratories, a dedicated helpdesk system is in place, allowing organized management of requests (tickets). Reports can be directed to the administration’s centralized system or, if an internal responsibility, handled directly by the department’s technical staff.

The main technical services offered include:

• Management and procurement of technical gases used in laboratories;
• Monitoring and maintenance of deionized and ultrapure water systems, which are essential for many experimental activities;
• Environmental monitoring and constant health check of technical facilities to ensure optimal safety and functionality of work spaces.
